Secretary
Kevin Shapiro
Kevin is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying Mathematics and Physics. He joined the IAA is sophonmore year not only to give himself a break from his quantitative schoolwork, but because of the opportunity to meet amazing and interesting new people, both at Penn and across the country. Originally from Chicago, Kevin is a die-hard Cubs fan, and loves his city by the lake. He is also a member of Sigma Nu fraternity, has a weekly radio show on WQHS, and works in a neutrino research lab on campus. He looks forward to leading the Secretary board and publications team this year after having served as editor of the Ambassador last year.
Deputy Publications Managers
Shubhi Nigam
Shubhi Nigam (often affectionately called Lhubhi Nigan) spent eighteen years in the wonderful city of New Delhi, India before making Penn and the IAA her home. She is currently in her senior year at Penn pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science and Economics. Other then spending long hours programming and making annoying graphs, she likes to eat excessive amounts of frozen yogurt, plan exotic vacations and watch any kind of television she can find. Especially television which involves being stranded on an island with Matthew Fox, crime, Tina Fey, music (read: glee), Andy Samberg and evil babies called Stewie. Shubhi has been involved in Model UN since her junior year in high school. She has spent two ridiculous years in the IAA serving on the secretariat for UPMUNC, attending Intercol trips and making amazing friends; which of course makes her even more excited to be a Deputy Secretary for the IAA.

David Schwartz
Hailing from Katonah, New York, David is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Economics and Political Science. David has been active in MUN since the beginning of high school, and has served as a DDI and an ILMUNC ASG during his time at Penn. Outside of MUN, David is an avid golfer, plays the cello, and enjoys listening to classic rock. In addition to serving as Editor of the Ambassador, David is excited to be chairing and CDing committees at UPMUNC and ILMUNC this year.

Jerry Wang
Jerry was born and raised in Qingdao, China, a beautiful coastal city where beer is purchased in plastic bags. Despite the stringent Chinese education regime he was subjected to, Jerry is apparently a man of nonchalance. He turned in his application for Penn just 10 hours before the deadline after almost forgoing the opportunity with doubts in his writing ability. (Needless to say, those worries were unjustified.) During his high school years, travelled to Europe and braved several nights in a Swedish hostel, remodelled from an abandoned train. Jerry is a huge geek in consumer electronics and takes pride in being an avid audiophile and the most loyal Apple fan. He is currently a Mechanical Engineering Major in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and like all members of the IAA, he loves Model UN and wants to make the IAA "the premier organization in the Model UN world".
