Jay Raghavan Jay is a Senior at Penn, and he is honored to be the IAA President! He has been involved in Model UN for 7 years, and his interest led him to join the IAA, which he believes is by far the best club on campus. Having been a part of Penn’s Intercollegiate Model UN team and the 2008 UPMUNC Secretary-General, Jay is very invested in this club. He is excited to work with this year’s fantastic Executive Board to lead the club into unparalleled heights. Jay is currently a dual-degree student, majoring in Economics and Systems Engineering. Eric Lemor Eric is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is majoring in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, but is thankful that it all falls into one major called PPE. Originally from New York City, Eric has been an active participant in Model UN since high school and that lead him to join the IAA as a freshman. The rest, as they say, is history. Eric is thrilled to serve as the Vice President of the IAA, having also served as the Secretary-General for ILMUNC 2008, a Chair for UPMUNC, a regular INTERCOL delegate and a lover of all IAA special events. Adam Behrens Adam is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences. He is double majoring in Intellectual History and Economics, and minoring in French. Adam is from Sycamore, IL, a small Midwestern town outside of Chicago. In his spare time outside of the IAA, Adam serves as the President of the Penn Class of 2011. He is also an avid runner and is planning on running in his first marathon this fall. Poorvi Kunzru Poorvi Kunzru is a junior at the University of Pennsylvania double majoring in Economics and Philosopy with a minor in French. Originally from India, she has lived in five different countries growing up; her parents are currently based in Muscat, Oman. She is the proud Secretary-General of the 43rd session of UPMUNC, the college level Conference hosted by PENN. Poorvi is also an active member of the IAA travelling team. In addition to the IAA, Poorvi invests a lot her time building simple, sustainable library centers in West and South India (check out www.kitabkorner.org). |

Catherine Gao Catherine is the Director-General for UPMUNC 2009. She has been involved with Model UN since high school and has served as Assistant-Secretary-General for UPMUNC 2007 and as Business Director for UPMUNC 2008. As a Wharton student in the class of 2011, Catherine plans to concentrate in Finance and Marketing with a minor in East Asian Studies. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking. Catherine is also very passionate about social entrepreneurship and international development. Maria Bohn Maria is a senior in the College of Arts and Science from Malvern, PA majoring in Anthropology and French. After having served as an Assistant Secretary-General and twice as Under Secretary-General of the Economic and Social Council, Maria is thrilled to be Secretary-General for ILMUNC’s twenty-sixth session. In her spare time, Maria plays harpsichord in Baroque Ensemble and is a research assistant at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. |

Florian Ha ILMUNC Director General Florian is a senior in the Huntsman Program, a joint degree program between the College of Arts & Sciences and the Wharton School, focusing on international studies and business. Born in the south of Germany, he moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil, when he was only four years old. His passion for languages made him pursue them actively at Penn and ultimately led him to join the International Affairs Association. Having been an Assistant Secretary-General at ILMUNC XXIII, the Under Secretary-General for Operations at ILMUNC XIV, and Business Director at ILMUNC XXV, he is now excited to be part of the ILMUNC XXVI Secretariat and is ready to give everything to make this conference the best of all. |
